Scenario Based Training

The aim of OSTC scenario based training is to provide military professionals with the most unique and innovative exercises available anywhere.  With its variety of personnel and logistics resources, OSTC will tailor a FTX to fit your needs.   OSTC will deliver fully developed scenarios with background stories that include fictitious countries, documentation and area studies.  By allowing OSTC to develop your training, you ensure the “element of surprise” and realism in your training - because the scenarios are developed outside your unit.

With our training you will:

In addition to our extensive training facility that includes; driving, breaching, and tactics facilities, OSTC can provide other training assets such as:

At OSTC, we believe in testing the individual and those who direct and support the individual.  Full mission profiles are developed to this end that involves the operator on the ground to command and control. You may also choose to incorporate your own assets (supporting units, aviation, etc.)  Task your aviation units to insert your team into territory defended by AA and SAM sites, therefore all participating units will be tested - all developed and incorporated into the FTX with supporting documentation, graphics and charts by OSTC.

Focus will be upon:

Soldier/Sailor/Marine/Airman

Operational Unit/Team/Cell/Task Unit

AOB/Company

FOB/Battalion

OSTC recently conducted a customized training program for a group of operators from a US SOF unit.  The assault force infiltrated a semi-permissive environment where they worked with a host nation to capture numerous High Value Individuals (HVIs).  The HVIs were turned over to local law enforcement role players serving as host nation security forces.  The unit was tasked to infiltrate and conduct covert, direct action operations in a non-permissive environment and then exfiltrate back to a semi-permissive environment.  Nine missions were conducted during a twenty four hour period

The unit conducted all of the following tasks during their exercise:

The scenario included the rescue of US personnel in the bottom of well at 3am, movement to exfiltration point after being compromised and being chased by police dogs and helicopter while dragging a 160 lb dummy.  Team members were able to bring their individual skills to bear during the exercise i.e. sniper, breacher, etc.

This is an example of just one exercise developed by the OSTC Military Division.  Scenarios can be as simple or as complex as you decide.
